We want you to relax, unwind and enjoy your spa experience to the full so please read and adhere to the following information. This is in the interest of your health and safety as well as that of other spa users:
Spa etiquette and health and safety advice must be followed and respected for everyone’s benefit.
The Spa is open from 12 noon until 10pm.
The Spa costs £10 per 45 minute session.
Maximum use of the hot tub is 25 minutes with a minimum hour break in-between sessions.
Please do not bring any valuables to the spa as we cannot take responsibility for any damages or loss of property.
Please wear bathing costumes.
Please use your own towels from home in the spa not the cottage towels.
As well as your bathing costume & towel please bring with you a pair of outdoor slip on shoes (flip-flops are fine). This allows you to keep your feet clean whilst walking around the Spa therefore keeping our hot tub clean.
Bathers must take a hot soapy shower in their cottage before entering the spa, washing off any heavy make-up and body lotions.
Parents are advised that hot tubs are not suitable for children under the age of 4.
All under 16's must be supervised by an adult (over 21).
Please do not let the water overspill out of the hot tub. If this does happen please inform the owners.
Only staff may check and adjust the hot tub.
Running, jumping and climbing on the tubs or in the spa area is not allowed.
No food allowed in the Spa area.
No soaps or oils etc. are allowed in the hot tubs.
Please ensure the dials are returned to the off position at the end of your session.
Please ensure you lock the door and return the key to the owners after each session.
Under no circumstances must glasses be taken into or near the hot tub. We reserve the right to charge for emptying the water and re-filling should there be any evidence that glassware has been used in or around the hot tub.
Please keep noise levels down to an acceptable level whilst using the hot tub and be mindful that there are neighbouring properties in close proximity.
Any abusive behaviour towards staff or other spa users will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.
No Alcohol - the risks involved in using this facility whilst under the influence of alcohol, prescription drugs or anything else likely to affect your judgement or the condition of your body, are too great for us to permit it’s use.
People under the influence of drugs or alcohol are asked not to use the hot tub and may be asked to leave if this becomes apparent.
When using the hot tubs do not fully submerge your head in the water or let the water go in your mouth.
All spa users are encouraged to drink plenty of cold fresh water.
Using the hot tubs and sauna for too long may result in nausea and dizziness, so take breaks when necessary. Please get out straight away if you experience: nausea, dizziness, faintness, rapid pulse, irregular heartbeat, stomach pain or tingling in the hands or feet.
If you are pregnant you must not use the hot tub.
Spa users are advised not to use the hot tubs or sauna without first seeking medical advice if they have heart disease, diabetes, or any other serious illness as well as migraine sufferers and people with an illness that causes inability to perspire.
To avoid spread of infection, people with skin, ear, genital or other body infections, open sores or wounds, or those who have had diarrhoea in the last 14 days should not use the hot tub.
We reserve the right to close this facility if it is being misused.
We accept no responsibility for injury caused by misuse of the spa facilities.
